ANPR Meets Access Control: Seamless Vehicle Entry with Axon
VSP now offers a fully supported ANPR-based vehicle access control solution, seamlessly integrating ANPR cameras with Axon Access Control for secure and automated vehicle entry.
With this solution, number plate data captured by an ANPR camera is automatically passed into Axon as an access credential. This allows vehicles to be authenticated and granted access in the same way as a standard access card — delivering a familiar, reliable workflow with added convenience.
How the Solution Works
- The ANPR camera captures the vehicle number plate
- Number plate data is sent to Axon as an access credential
- Axon controls vehicle access points such as boom gates, roller doors, and car park entrances
All access permissions, rules, and decisions are managed directly within Axon and can be administered remotely via UltraSync, providing full visibility and control from anywhere.
